MEDIA INVITE: Opening event of Fidel Castro Photo Exhibition in Cape Town with Cuban Ambassador

The Palestine solidarity and human rights organization BDS South Africa will be joining friends from the Friends of Cuba Society (FOCUS) and the Embassy of Cuba in South Africa who are hosting a photo-exhibition event in Cape Town celebrating the life former Cuban President, Fidel Castro.The tile of the exhibition is "Celebrating the Life of a Revolutionary".
Anti-apartheid icon Father Micheal Lapsley and the Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, will address the opening event.
The photo exhibition consists of 90 rare photos of President Fidel Castro and is an initiative by Prensa Latina News Agency. The exhibition was produced to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Cuban revolutionary.
There will also be a variety of activists and leaders from civil society, politics, government and students attending.
