In the spotlight:
 Water rides have always been popular attractions at Great Adventure, and SplashWater Falls was the best way to get soaking wet on hot summer days.
With the retheme of the Movietown section of the park, SplashWater Falls was renamed Movietown Water Effect where it continued to make huge waves until it was removed after 21 seasons at the end of 2007 to make way for the Dark Knight Coaster.
