- We are in the process of updating all our plugins to include VST3 support and we are now happy to announce that RP-EQ, XY-Transfer, and B.I.T. are now available in VST3 format.
To obtain the updated plugins, simply login to robpapen.com and download the latest installer and run it. eXplorer-6 users, please download the single installers from the eXplorer-6 download page.
- A FREE update for Punch-2 is planned for the end of this month, including new sounds and features. So keep an eye out for the next newsletter :D

Vecto, our take on vector synthesis, was originally designed for Reason Studios. By popular demand, the VST/AU/AAX version was then released in 2019.
We have now released a FREE update which includes new features like Granular, New Filters, MPE support, VST3 support, and last but not least 231 new Presets!
Please note that Vecto-RE (the original Reason Studios version) will also receive the update very soon.

To obtain the new update for Vecto:
- Log into your account at robpapen.com and open the download page below your Vecto registration.
- Download the Installer and run it.
- NI NKS users, please download the NKS installer for Vecto. If Vecto doesn't appear in your NI NKS product, then action a rescan inside the preferences menu for your NKS product.
eXplorer-6 users:
Please log into your account at robpapen.com and download the latest Installer for eXplorer-6 to obtain the Vecto update with NKS support and the new presets.
Please also download the latest NKS installer.
If Vecto doesn't appear in your NI NKS product, then action a rescan inside the preferences menu of your NKS product.

Rob Papen Book & Video ' The 4 Element Synth '.
The first release of ‘The 4 Element Synth’ book had 4 DVDs and in today’s world, even DVD players are becoming rare! The re-release is now handled by a publisher and the 10 hours of video content is stored in the cloud and if you click here you can see a screenshot of how well the video content is organized according to the book and its chapters and sections.
The main reason why Rob Papen selected a publisher is that this way the book gets potentially a wider audience. After all, this book is a textbook and perfect for learning and understanding subtractive synthesis. It is mainly for the novice, intermediate... but if you are a real pro, you know that there is always something new to learn.
- Predator-4ES
In the book, Rob Papen uses hardware synthesizers but also the Predator plug-in. This plug-in is perfect for learning subtractive synthesis. So we have also released a study version of Predator called Predator-4ES. It contains all the presets used in the book/videos and even the original introduction bank. Predator-4ES is perfect for studying alongside the book, discovering, and playing around.The limitations of the plugin are that you need to use it in your music host program as there is no stand-alone version and that there is no saving preset option. So if you have purchased the book, feel free to download this study synthesizer from the homepage.

In recent years, Apple is constantly changing its OS.
What does this mean for the - Rob Papen - plug-ins?
The current situation is that we are compatible from
OS-10.12 up to OS-11 (Big Sur).
If you are still working with OS-10.9 up to OS-10.11 we do still
provide the legacy installers, however, these do not contain the most recent versions of our plug-ins. The older OS versions are also not supported anymore by Apple, so wise to update your OS as soon as you are able to. In case of questions, please log in and create a support ticket. |
