Huntsville Town Hotline

In this Hotline:

Passing of Karen Lou Jorgensen Deem

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lifelong Huntsville resident Karen Deem.  She was a fixture in town and many kids looked forward to seeing her on the Valley Elementary Playground and in the office.  Our apologies for the late notice, but her funeral is today, December 8, 2007,  at 11 am at the Huntsville 1st ward.  A viewing will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.  Click here to see her obituary.

Passing of Dode Harrison

We are equally saddened to hear of the passing of Dode Harrison.  She and Leon lived in Huntsville until last year and together they were a fixture in town.  They could always be seen traveling the streets of Huntsville in their horse drawn surrey, and were the Grand Marshall's of the July 4th 2006 parade.

A viewing will be held December 9th from 6-8PM at the Meyers Mortuary and the funeral will be held on December 10th we believe, as it was not specified in today's obituary.

Our thoughts and prayers are with both of these great families

That’s all for now, have a great week.

Sincerely,

Richard L. Sorensen
