Snow-tinged newflashy greetings to you
We bring you ultra-important news. So we'll keep it short. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our first meeting of the year has changed date. We will now be meeting on Thursday the 8th of January.
Please don't turn up on the day before. You'll be ever so alone.
To make up for this we'd like to shove you in the direction of these South Bank Centre vouchers. Buy One Get One Free cocktails at the RFH Central Bar (only till 6.30 so get them in early), and money off all kinds of munchies and cool bits and bobs. Yay!

Details of the next meeting:
Come one, come all for our first meeting of the year. For those of you who have not yet plucked up the courage to come to a meeting before, we make an extra special effort this week to encourage you to join us and start stitching.
We thought we’d help out with a few name badges this first meeting of the year too. So newbie’s can learn names, and for a bit of a memory jog for the rest of us. We’ll bring the stickers. You bring your names.
As always we will be teaching our socks off if you want to learn. Knitters old and new are welcome too. So grab some yarn and needles and take the plunge – we promise not to bite.
THURSDAY 8TH JANUARY 2009
Time: From 6pm
Venue: The Royal Festival Hall (ground floor, somewhere at the back - look for people knitting)
Address: South Bank Centre
Map Website Nearest Tube: Waterloo, Embankment
As an additional bonus, Stitchette Lauren "Deadly Knitshade" O’Farrell is back from her travels, and so will be stitching with us again at this meeting. You can catch up with her adventures with yarn in India and other amazing places here.
|That is all we have to say. You can go back to shivering in the snow now. If you missed the last newsletter you can check it out by clicking here. |
