Russian Roulette Variety Show
Auditions for the Russian Roulette Variety Show 2015 are now open until May 10th! The Russian Roulette Variety Show is part of a PEX tradition of stellar performance art, utilizing a traveling sideshow style framework to highlight the incredible talent that our community has to offer. We cordially invite you to audition to participate in a delicious evening of carnival alchemy, dance, fire, magic, and more! PEX has always supported flow arts performance and active participation and over the past 2 years a show has grown up and is embarking upon its third year! This show includes non-fire or glow acts from our very own PEX community offering a gift for you on the sunday evening of PEX Summerfest. Through community efforts and support this show will dazzle you with a different context for flow arts in an intimate setting.

Art submissions for Center Camp?
We are excited to present new to PEX Fest 2015 -- Center Camp -- the place to stimulate, invigorate and rejuvenate the mind, body and soul! This organic oasis offers cool shade, a seated lounge, hot and cold coffee and tea, abundant art and entertainment and friendly smiles galore. An open-mic stage will feature acoustic music, poetry readings, spoken word, comedy, and theatrical productions. The space will be bursting with live painting, 2-D art kiosks, art installations and a history of PEX display. Come fill the Café with your magical planned and spontaneous art and performance pieces, in what promises to be a favorite stop for every participant. For art submissions please fill out the artwork entry form here: Artwork Entry Form by May 15. Musicians, spoken word artists, and other performers, blocks of time will be reserved daily for scheduled performances. Please register in advance here Center Camp Performance Submissions, to list your performance in the Event Guide. Otherwise, an open-mic sign-up will be available for daily performances. Children are welcome to perform too! The Café will be open Friday: 8 a.m. - 12 a.m., Saturday and Sunday: 6 a.m. - 12 a.m., and Monday: 6 a.m. - 12 p.m.
