July 2021
Happy Summer, Everyone!
As the world is going through many changes, that is being reflected here at Mata Shakti Ashram. As the name implies, the space here is devoted to the wisdom of Divine Mother in all its forms. Here are some more thoughts on the concepts of Divine Mother wisdom:
It's about manifesting freely and joyfully within all sacred traditions on the planet, dissolving limits, crossing over boundaries, unveiling harmony and omniconscious unity for all beings.
The mission of Mata Shakti Ashram is to allow Goddess wisdom to be more accessible to all who live within a culture governed primarily by masculine metaphors for Divinity and by masculine attitudes toward reality.
Mother reality is tender, playful, open, creative, unconventional, and indefinable. She is the open space beyond religion. She stands always outside frameworks. Yet her intuitive wisdom presents a way to harmonize genuine religious and cultural traditions: traditions manifested by Gautama, Moses, Krishna, Jesus, Nanak, and Muhammad. Mother loves all her children equally.
Mother is always global, always indivisible, always revolutionary.
The goal of spirituality is to realize truth, and as we keep the Universal Mother as the focus of our awareness, we build the basis of a new civilization.
Humans in male form - do not worry that you are not welcome at Mata Shakti Ashram! Mother constitutes the feminine principle within male and female and manifests the gender free feminine.
Mata Shakti Ashram is not about systematizing Mother Wisdom. It's about sacred encouragement and a fiesta of opening to the sacredness of life.
We continue to practice Kundalini yoga as a vehicle to enhance our awareness of Divine Feminine principles, as a modality rather than an institution. Look below for this months' class topics, and thank you for reading my description of the growth and mission of this space!
Also: As the planet becomes healthier post Covid, Mata Shakti retreat space will be opening in the next months! You can rent space for a private quiet retreat, and optional extras like spiritual counseling, yoga and meditation instruction, and healthy meals.
Stay tuned for more information!
