Marbridge + It's About Thyme = 46 years. That's how long I have
been in the world of gardening (writes Chris Winslow).When you
throw my recent 70th birthday into the mix - I think you'll agree that
it all adds up to being an appropriate time for me to retire ; - )
I feel ready to do something different, and ready to rediscover my-
self. But while the butterflies and sunsets of Rockport await us (and
the fishing trips of course!), there is some sadness too. I will greatly
miss all of our wonderful customers and members of staff, and just
the whole bright vibe of our little enterprise. It has been such a rich
experience, and it's a little hard to walk away.
But while Rockport is our new home, we have 5 grandchildren in
Austin and will visit them at least once a month. Plus we will send
reports of our adventures on the Coast to the new newsletter. Our
gratitude to all of you is measureless, and when Diane has her new
shop up and running, we'll expect you all to come down for a
visit ; - ) Thank you... and of course... and Happy Gardening!❦
