TSE All-Share Index
The TSE All-Share Index extended its rally to close up 2.22% on the last day of the trading week at a record high of 108,872. Major sectors posted gains, led by Metallic Ores (+4.80%). The weakest sector was Foods excluding Sugar (-1.24%). Base Metals (+0.69%) was the most traded sector with volume of IRR 1,078 billion (approx. USD 25.4 million). Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (PKLJ +4.96%), Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co. (GOLG +3.72%) and Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +2.11%) were the top movers of the All-Share Index today. Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (PKLJ +4.96%) was the most active stock with IRR 762 billion (approx. USD 17.9 million) in trades. Total traded value of the TSE added 32.5% from yesterday to IRR 7,003 billion (approx. USD 165 million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization advanced 2.18% to close at 5,327. Most of the top 30s rose, with Mines & Metals Development Investment Co. (MADN +7.09%) leading gainers. Mellat Bank (BMLT -2.27%) fell most. Total traded value of the top 30s reached IRR 3,720 billion (approx. USD 87.6 million), up 72% from the previous trading session.
