The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day down -0.70% at 1,185,604. Textile(+0.67%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest drop of the day was for Shipping & Ports (-3.00%). Metallic Ores (-1.31%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 4,750 billion (approx. USD 19 million).Esfahan's Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD1 -1.81%) Social Sec Inv (TAMN1 -1.97%) and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Ind. (PKLJ1 -1.04%) were the the main movers of the All-Share Index. BoualiSina Petro. (BONA1 0.02%) was the most traded stock with IRR228 billion (approx. USD00.9million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 24,606 billion (approx. USD 97 million) down -63.73% from the previous trading session. |
According to the statistics center of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, the average housing expenses for Iranian urban and rural households increased by 29.5% and 25.3%, respectively, in the year ending March 2020.
The employment rate in the autumn (September 22-December 20, 2020) was 37.5% (23.41 million), down 2.1% compared with the same quarter of the previous Iranian year.
