November 2020
This year, Thanksgiving will be a different experience for many of us.  We may even be having our "dinners" over Zoom, so we can see our families from afar. Even though this year has brought oh so many challenges, it is important that we remember what we are thankful for. Cultivate this attitude of gratitude so that you can soar like an eagle into 2021!
Join us for yoga on November 12 to practice the "Attitude of Gratitude" meditation!

Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, Level One

Typically, Level One Kundalini Yoga teacher training takes place each year in Chapel Hill. Due to the rising cases of COVID 19 as we head into winter, it is likely that we will be pushing out our start date yet again so that we can meet safely in person when it is time to take this transformative journey together.
Inquire about exact dates and request an application:
hardarshan@matashaktiashram.org

Level Two: "Vitality and Stress" will also be rescheduled to take place on Zoom. The old dates were: February 27, 28, 29 and March 5, 6, and 7. It's likely that the course will take place over a longer period of time than 6 days, so that we don't have to spend so many hours on the computer. Stay tuned!

Sacred Words
this month's wisdom quote

"It is only kindness that makes sense anymore, only kindness that ties your shoes and sends you out into the day to mail letters and purchase bread, only kindness that raises its head from the crowd of the world to say it is I you have been looking for, and then goes with you everywhere like a shadow or a friend."
