AFFA HELPING HAND MEMORIAL GIFT FUND
The Board recently created this memorial gift fund as a way to honor our members' passing.  We started the fund with a $50 gift in memory of longtime member, Jean Cornelius, who passed away on Sept. 21, 2009.  Funds will be used to give a helping hand to members having difficulty paying event fees, especially junior members.  Recipients will know the names of those in whose memory the funds were given.  Doesn't this seem like the perfect way to honor someone whose love of folk art we share?

Anyone wishing to make a gift to the fund in Jean's name (or in the name of any other departed member) may send a check in any amount to:
AFFA
Attn: Terry Tannert
P.O. Box 28085
Austin, TX  78755
Please write "Helping Hand Fund" and note the name of the person being remembered on the memo line of your check.  Also give us the names and addresses of anyone you would like AFFA to notify about your memorial gift.
