Provincial Appointments 2015

This year's lists of Appointments and Promotions have been published. You can read the full Craft list here and the full Royal Arch list here. The Brethren and Companions concerned will be invested with their appointments and promotions at the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge and Grand Chapter which take place on Thursday 2nd July 2015 at the University of Trinity St David in Carmarthen. Please make a determined effort to attend the meeting. Actually, why not make up a party of your Chapter or Lodge Members, and come in numbers? In doing so you will be supporting your Rulers; your Chapter or Lodge and also those Companions and Brethren who will be invested with their Provincial Appointments and Promotions. It is always a very special day for West Wales.

The Freemasons’ Grand Charity has been a regular supporter of air
ambulance charities in recent years, donating well over £1.5 million in total to
twenty-two rescue services since 2007. Every air ambulance charity in England and Wales has received funding.
At the Installation meeting of the Kensington Lodge of Installed Masters, on Friday 13th March 2015, RW Bro Stephen D Hookey was delighted to present a Freemasons' Grand Charity cheque for £4000 to Mr Paul Canning, Wales Air Ambulance Fund Raising Coordinator.

Fabulous Festival Presentations

On Thursday 26th February 2015, at the Aeron Lodge meeting, RW Bro Stephen D Hookey, Provincial Grand Master of the
Province of West Wales, was delighted to receive a magnificent cheque
for £20,000, presented by W Bro Ron Knowlton on behalf of Helvetica Lodge (pictured above).
In addition to this fabulous boost to the Festival, W Bros Tommi Jones,
WM of Aeron Lodge and Iwan Jenkins, the Charity Steward presented a
cheque for a further £5000 to the Festival.

W Bro Arthur Brown - 50 Years!!

W Bro Arthur Henry Hallett Brown was Initiated in to Kibbor Lodge no 4364 in the Province of South Wales in March 1965. The Deputy Provincial Grand Master VW Bro Brian C Hilling was delighted to present him with his certificate and badge at the Narberth Lodge meeting on 6th March 2015.

Cleddau Lodge Presentation

W Bro Sam Richards (right), WM of Cleddau Lodge was delighted to present a cheque for £250 to Ken Brombley, Chairman of the H.O.P.E. Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre. H.O.P.E. provides a therapy consisting of breathing pure oxygen whilst being subjected to air pressure which is higher than atmospheric pressure. This benefits about 50% of the people receiving the treatment.
