TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index slipped 0.47% to close today at 157,329. Construction (+4.74%) was the leading sector, while the biggest faller of the day was Chemicals (-2.35%) which was also the most traded sector with volume of IRR 1,373 billion (approx. USD 32 million). Persian Gulf Petrochemical Ind. Co. (PKLJ -2.06%), Parsian Oil & Gas Dev. Group Co. (PASN -4.56%) and Tamin Petroleum & Petrochem Ind. Co. (PTAP -3.15%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Tejarat Bank (BTEJ +4.54%) was the most traded stock with IRR 792 billion (approx. USD 18 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 9,529 billion (approx. USD 227 million), down 24% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 7,532 for a loss of 1.26%. The biggest riser was Fajr Petrochemical Co. (BFJR +4.99%) while Parsian Oil & Gas Dev. Group Co. (PASN -4.56%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks fell 21% to IRR 3,455 billion (approx. USD 82 million). |
