TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 1.14% at 249,252. Paper Products (+4.64%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Agriculture (-0.99%). Chemicals (+1.15%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 1,762 billion (approx. USD 41 million). Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +1.81%) Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co. (PKLJ +1.58%) and Pars Petrochemical Co. (PARS +3.10%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Iran Chemical Industries Investment Co. (SSIN +4.07%)was the most traded stock with IRR 469 billion (approx. USD 11 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 13,040 billon (approx. USD 310 million), up 6% from the previous trading session.
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 11,219 for a gain of 0.90%. The biggest riser was Omid Investment Management Group (OIMC +4.97%) while Jam Petrochemical Co. (PJAM -1.89%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 2,346 billion (approx. USD 55 million), up 112% from the previous trading session. |
