Gazetting the Top Road

After much work over a substantial period of time, SIRA has made some progress with council on formally gazetting the road to the top of the island. This will give some certainty to those that require this for their residential access and allow for possible future improvements to this road.

Recent GPS data has been collected by council to assist with the survey plan. Once this plan is created, council will progress this with the Department of Lands who will then be able to gazette the road. This will provide legal access to the proprties that use this track to reach their properties.

It is expected that this work will be done over the next 12 months.

Hello Everyone.

Winter is the perfect moment to prepare our gardens for the warmer seasons to come. All the weeds have been enjoying the rain and sun for the last few months, so now’s the time to wave them goodbye!
Get in touch for help with:
  • cleaning out your veggie patch and treating it with compost (or learning how to start making your own compost) ready for your Spring planting;
  • waving goodbye to Winter weed growth to keep your block bushfire prepared,
  • clearing out the troublesome corner of your garden to turn it into the Summer sundowner spot you’re secretly dreaming about.
  • ongoing maintenance and gardening jobs.
Give me a shout on 0439 455 901, or drop me a line at dogsbodydobs@gmail.com
Cheers, James Dobbie
